One thing that's amazing about being a photographer is being a part of a community of photographers where you can learn & grow from each other, talk about frustrations, and share ideas. A relationship like that is even better when it's a friend you knew in high school, lost contact with over the years, but through social media found each other and started your friendship again. That is how it is with Elaine, who is an amazing photographer (especially boudoir! You can see her work here). For the last 2 years we have traded our Christmas family sessions, meaning we took the pictures for each other's families, handed the RAW images over, and then we each edited our own. Of course we kept our favorites that we took for our own portfolio, and here are my two absolute favorites from the day. This year was fun because our families went to the same location, we did our sessions the same day, our kids got to play, and then we enjoyed a fun dinner together afterwards. If you are looking for a local boudoir photographer in the AV (I don't offer those services) PLEASE contact Elaine, her work is fantastic!!
